Just for Men

As other products i.e shampoo and hair products, hair dye (one even called 'Just for Men) certain products are aimed for a male audience. I feel this is the same situation with chocolate, men don't like to purchase a product which they feel is for women - even if the product may be the same. Maybe this is why the likes of snickers and Yorkie always market towards men as they feel if its targeted especially for men then the men would opt for that chocolate bar over one like Galaxy that is very femininely advertised. Whereas women wouldn't be as put off if the main advertisement was for me. 

Chocolate Ranks

From this chart Galaxy are the second ranked chocolate bar. Galaxy and Snickers are both part of the same confectionery company, however have a different rank of sales, is it because they aim to different target markets? I wonder if snickers advertised towards women whether there sales would see a increase as most chocolate sales tend to be female buyers.

Internation Dog Surfing Day

In a project in my Second year at uni I was given International surfing day 

as my day to design a poster for- however the target market had to be completely

different from its original target market. After seeing dog surfing videos on Youtube I
aimed my project towards pet owners. I had lots of fun with this project!

Inside Outside

Our latest project was a mixed media project called 'inside outside' so i did fruit because they have a very plain outside but can be beautiful inside, so i choose to do the three fruits: lemon,lime and a orange and do them in different media's. This is my final piece and they will be going up in the Crown Gallery in Carlisle on Saturday 4th of February up until the 23rd!
